Judson Wallace is on the move, signing a two year contract with Benetton Treviso of Italy's Lega A.

Another MRI is scheduled for Chris Young as he continues to recover from a line drive to the face that fractured his nose, face and skull.



Saturday News:

A Will Venable update. Venable is batting .356 through 12 games for AAA Portland and has cut down on his strikeouts after fanning eight times in his first six games.

Georgetown (13-2) suffered its first Big East loss of the season, falling 69-60 at Pitt. The Hoyas were 3-20 from three point range in the defeat.

With the college basketball season underway, I've been negligent in providing readers with some European updates on former Tigers playing overseas. Let's get caught up!

Mason Rocca is averaging 10.7 points per-game and 7.1 rebounds in his fourth season for the 3-8 Eldo Napoli squad. Napoli is in 16th place in Lega A.

Judson Wallace is averaging 14.6 points per-game and 10.5 rebounds through 11 games for Capo d'Orlando, who sit in 7th place with a 6-5 record. Wallace is shooting 50% from the three point line (20-40).

Northwestern leading scorer Kevin Coble is taking a leave of absence from the Wildcats.

6'9" center Stefan Kaluz has selected Brown over Princeton.

Capo D'Orlando topped Benneton Treviso. Judson Wallace had 18 points and 15 rebounds.



Friday News:

Kyle Koncz and the Princeton Tigers will participate in their first official practice of the 2007-08 basketball season tonight.

Each member of the Tigers needs to pay $84 to charity because of "unsanctioned team dinners" last season.

Georgetown and Denver are also practicing for the first time tonight. You can watch some of Georgetown's March Madness festivities on ESPNU.

The Hoyas held their Media Day yesterday at McDonough Arena.

Will Venable has been limited to action as Designated Hitter in the Arizona Fall League because of "a sore throwing shoulder."

Capo D'Orlando dropped a close game to Tisettanta Cantu, 92-89. Judson Wallace picked up 14 rebounds and scored 17 points in defeat.



Monday News:

It was Princeton vs. Princeton in Lega Basket Series A, as Mason Rocca's SS Napoli team was sunk by Judson Wallace's Capo D'Orlando 75-62. Rocca scored five points and grabbed 10 rebounds in defeat while Wallace tallied 14 and snagged eight boards.

Georgetown will hold their Midnight Madness event on Friday, October 12th. The festivities will be broadcast by ESPNU.



Sunday News:

Chris Young limited Milwaukee to two runs on just two hits in the penultimate matchup of San Diego's season. The Padres were one strike away from a trip to the playoffs before Tony Gwynn Jr. tripled off of Trevor Hoffman to tie a game that the Brewers would eventually win 4-3 in 11 innings. San Diego will try to lock up the NL Wild Card with a win today at 2:05 pm ET.



Saturday News:

Chris Young can pitch the San Diego Padres into the playoffs today in Milwaukee. The Padres trail the Diamondbacks by a game for the NL West lead and are up two games with two to play on both the Mets and the Colorado Rockies in the wild card race. It is a 3:55 pm ET first pitch.

Judson Wallace had his first game for Capo d'Orlando, who lost to Bologna 88-84. Wallace scored 17 points before fouling out.
