It sounds like Chris Gaston will be available for the Rams.
Princeton recruit Amir Bell scored 18 points as East Brunswick beat the state's top-ranked team.
Lousy news for Northwestern as Drew Crawford will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery. The silver lining is that Crawford is one game under the cutoff for a medical hardship waiver and should hopefully return for 2013-14.
Action picks back up today as Georgetown hosts Western Carolina, Richmond welcomes Stetson and Nebraska-Omaha visits Denver.

In lieu of a Know! Your! Foe! (several reporters contacted, none responded): Kent State is the anti-Wagner in many ways. They're rather solid offensively yet weaker defensively. The Golden Flashes hold onto the basketball very nicely and are dominant on the offensive glass but seem to have their troubles defending inside the arc and forcing turnovers.
Chris Evans is their Ian Hummer, a 6'8" senior forward who leads his team in almost all available statistical categories but Evans gets serious support from classmate Randal Holt out of the backcourt. You'll see them both on the floor for most of the night and they're good for 34.1 combined points.
KSU has defeated Drexel at home and won in Nebraska's gym. Both their losses were versus KenPom Top 100 teams, Temple by 14 and Valpo in OT.

An incredible shooting performance from Tyler Brown's Illinois State was overcome by Northwestern (6-0) in overtime. The Wildcats took the South Padre Island Invitational title 72-69 and have won 21 consecutive November games.
Richmond (4-2) was winning by three at halftime but the last 20 minutes were all Ohio. The Spiders ultimately fell 73-48.
The Tigers' next opponent picked up their first win of the season yesterday but it sounds like it was anything but pretty.
Around the Ivy League: Dartmouth (1-2) lost 70-66 versus IPFW. Brown (2-3) was tripped in OT by St. Francis (NY.), 76-72. Yale (2-5) needed a pair of extra frames to finally get past Army by three. Cornell (3-4) won their second straight in Las Vegas, 84-78 over Longwood. The Full-Court Press offers the lone preview of today's game I could find.
A Know! Your! Foe! about Lafayette was scheduled to run last night but the person who agreed to answer my questions went MIA after receiving these queries. Instead I offer three things to look at as the game unfolds:
1. Leopards sophomore center Dan Trist was averaging 23.0 ppg before getting injured prior to Lafayette's game at Kentucky eight days ago. What is his status?
2. Are Lafayette's poor defensive numbers this season (332nd overall, 334th in EFG%, 337th in 2PT%) due more to the quality of the opponents they've faced (all in the Top 200 including the aforementioned Wildcats and Maryland) or a result of the Leopards' personnel?
3. Princeton is 343rd in the NCAA guarding the perimeter. Opponents are making 49.0% of their threes versus the Tigers. Lafayette is converting 40.9% of their outside attempts and jacking on average 25.4 times from deep. Is this where the game will be won or lost?
Holding TCU to just 31 points, Northwestern (5-0) advanced to the championship of the South Padre Island Invitational. The Wildcats will play fellow unbeaten Illinois State.
Georgetown returns home to host Mount St. Mary's and Richmond visits Ohio today.
Around the Ivy League: Cornell (2-4) destroyed winless Presbyterian, 89-55. At the Hilltop Classic, Columbia (4-1) recorded a victory over NAIA program Wayland Baptist, 75-63.

Guilty of 23 turnovers, Cornell (1-4) lost 64-53 at Arizona State.
princetonbasketball.com was founded on April 28th, 1998 in an attempt to provide fans of the Princeton Tigers and Ivy League basketball with the best on-line source for up-to-date news and information. We have since expanded to launch a companion site, Georgetown Basketball News.
As these sites have continued to grow we have increased our coverage to include additional teams with Princeton connections - the Richmond Spiders, Denver Pioneers, Oregon State Beavers, Fairfield Stags and Mercer County Community College Vikings - plus former Tigers playing professional baseball and basketball all over the world.
