Chris Young trading card.

While Chris Young remains frustrated by a mysteriously sore shoulder that continues to keep him on the DL, I'm not going to let that stop me from posting the first in a series of CY trading cards I won on eBay (a stack of nine different cards for a whopping $0.59 total).

This is #404 from Topps' 2009 throwback Heritage series.

Click here to enjoy our complete trading card series with classic images from Brian Taylor, Geoff Petrie and more.

A new Brian Taylor card!

The summer before last I spent a fair amount of time scanning classic trading cards of Princeton greats who played in the ABA and/or NBA including Brian Taylor, Geoff Petrie and Armond Hill.

Last night a new card was introduced, handed out to fans entering Jadwin Gym as part of the evening's festivities surrounding Taylor. Images of both sides have been added to this series and can be seen above.

Photos from the stellar postgame reception honoring Taylor will be up later today.

Brian Taylor.

A reader sent us an oversized trading card featuring the pride of Perth Amboy that we did not have in our collection. It is 1977 Topps trading card #73. If you missed our scans of trading cards featuring Princeton stars of the 1970s last summer, click here to enjoy the series.

Armond Hill.

1981 was the last year until the early 1990s that Topps made basketball trading cards. Each card in this set had three players on it, with perforations that allowed for division into three smaller cards. Unless some new scans come our way (hint hint) this Armond Hill scan is the final card in our summer series featuring former Princeton players. It is 1981 Topps trading card #25.
