I completely forgot that I shot and edited this montage for the Friends of Princeton Basketball from Reunions 2003 of the alumni basketball games at Jadwin Gym.
Pictured at different junctures: John Thompson III, Kyle Wente, Ray Robins, Pete Hegseth, Steve Goodrich (with platinum blonde hair!), Jerry Price, Ahmed El-Nokali, Chris Doyal, Jim Lane, Frank Sowinski, Nate Walton, Stu Orefice, Jason Osier, Stan Adleston, Sean Gregory, Gabe Lewullis, Rich Simkus, John Trubee, Christopher Kilburn-Peterson, Jamie Mastaglio, Brian Earl and many others I can't as easily ID.
A hodgepodge of videos from various corners of the Princeton basketball family that don't fit anywhere else. First up, Sean Gregory learns soccer tips from the New York Red Bulls' Chris Albright.
Dartmouth has hired Paul Cormier as their new men's basketball coach. Cormier was previously coach of the Big Green from 1984-1991. He will officially be introduced on Monday.
Sean Gregory interviews Craig Robinson for Time Magazine.
Robinson was also a guest on WNYC (.mp3) yesterday.
The Washington Post reports on the Georgetown basketball banquet.
A bullpen session for Chris Young went well. The next step in his rehab is a simulated game on Friday in Cincinnati.
Without the services of head coach Joe Scott, who was suspended one game per Sun Belt Conference rules after being ejected in the second half of the Pioneers' previous contest, Denver (10-4) defeated Arkansas State, 64-55.
Wake Forest held off Richmond (10-4) in overtime, 74-68.
Oregon State (6-6) lost a tight Pac-10 opener at Washington.
Here's the latest Eurocup blog post from birthday boy Judson Wallace.
Sean Gregory has a piece on the Time web site about Harvard senior guard Jeremy Lin.
Around the Ivy League: Penn (0-9) suffered the largest loss in school history at the hands of Duke, 114-55. Jeff Foote scored 22 as Cornell (11-2) took care of Penn State Erie, 73-49. Yale (4-9) lost by 22 at Colorado State.
princetonbasketball.com was founded on April 28th, 1998 in an attempt to provide fans of the Princeton Tigers and Ivy League basketball with the best on-line source for up-to-date news and information. We have since expanded to launch a companion site, Georgetown Basketball News.
As these sites have continued to grow we have increased our coverage to include additional teams with Princeton connections - the Richmond Spiders, Denver Pioneers, Oregon State Beavers, Fairfield Stags and Mercer County Community College Vikings - plus former Tigers playing professional baseball and basketball all over the world. This site is not directly affiliated with the Friends of Princeton Basketball, Princeton University or the Princeton athletic department.
