Been traveling for over a week. Let's see what was happening while I was on the road...
Geoff Petrie will not be back as the Sacramento Kings' general manager. His contract expires at the end of the month.
Feel free to vote for Will Venable on your All-Star Game ballot. The polls close on July 4th. Venable may only be hitting .210 but he continues to lead the Padres in home runs. Here's video of the shot that got him into double figures for the season.
One columnist wants the Utah Jazz to draft Ian Hummer for fairly ridiculous reasons.
Hoya forward Greg Whittington could miss the 2013-14 season due to injury.
Should Armond Hill get consideration as the next head coach of the Boston Celtics?
Judson Wallace did not score for Barcelona in the deciding game of the ACB playoffs, which went to Real Madrid. Wallace has joked elsewhere online that he is now "unemployed."
A slideshow honoring George Leftwich Sr., who retired as Archbishop Carroll's athletic director.
Stephen Goldsmith's brother and Howie Levy's son were just two local friends to throw a local high school graduation party benefitting Derek's Dreams.
Here's the latest collection of videos from various corners of the Princeton basketball family. Above, Mitch Henderson gets "Mic'd Up" at practice and talks about Princeton's upcoming season - the first clip on the team's official YouTube channel.
Tried something we've never done before on the site. Both Stephen Goldsmith *and* Robert Solomon shot tonight's game. I've split these images into two batches and SG is up first. Enjoy!
It was a tough conference road loss for Denver (17-8) at Florida Atlantic (10-14) tonight. The Pioneers came from 15 down at halftime, shooting 81% from the floor in the back frame (17 for 21), but let a four point lead get away in the final 14 seconds.
Shavar Richardson made two free throws with :01.1 left to give the Owls the victory.
DU was done in by 7-16 free throw shooting.
Stephen Goldsmith was on hand in Boca Raton and his photos follow the jump.
princetonbasketball.com was founded on April 28th, 1998 in an attempt to provide fans of the Princeton Tigers and Ivy League basketball with the best on-line source for up-to-date news and information. We have since expanded to launch a companion site, Georgetown Basketball News.
As these sites have continued to grow we have increased our coverage to include additional teams with Princeton connections - the Richmond Spiders, Denver Pioneers, Oregon State Beavers, Fairfield Stags and Mercer County Community College Vikings - plus former Tigers playing professional baseball and basketball all over the world. This site is not directly affiliated with the Friends of Princeton Basketball, Princeton University or the Princeton athletic department.
