Ian Hummer represents Princeton on the honor roll of the latest Ivy League Men's Basketball Weekly Release.

ESPN ranked Bill Bradley 13th on their list of "the 75 best players in NCAA tournament history based on overall achievement as well as singular excellence."

Princeton recruit Amir Bell was named First Team All-GMC.

Derek Needham's three point shot with five seconds remaining lifted Fairfield (17-11) to a 66-64 comeback victory over Iona.

John Thompson III joined Andy Katz on the ESPNU College Basketball podcast. The interview starts roughly 14:00 into the program.

13-1 in their last 14 games, Denver is playing their best basketball of the season at the right time.

Depleted Northwestern (13-12) played valiantly at Ohio State but a late 17-5 Buckeyes run with the Wildcats up two entering the game's final five minutes was the difference.

Derek Needham knocked down eight three pointers as Fairfield (16-11) topped Siena, 74-52.

Mercer (18-9) fell 74-59 to undefeated Brookdale.

A wild overtime affair went 63-60 to Denver (16-8) over Utah State on Brett Olson's three point shot at the buzzer. The final play is available as an animated .gif below.

For the first time in the past six contests, Oregon State (13-12) won a game decided by eight points or less. The Beavers topped Washington State, 67-66.

I talked with former Tiger Matt Sargeant last October about his entrance into the coaching ranks. "If we won the league this year it would be shocking to other people. Not to me, but to other people in the Orange County girls basketball landscape," he said then. Well, Sargeant's Lady Griffins of Los Alamitos High School won their first ever Sunset League championship Tuesday night. They finished the regular season 9-1 in conference and 21-5 overall.

Mitch Henderson may not have remembered during this week's interview, but as a reader noticed, Henderson was part of a Princeton team that made seven straight three pointers in 1998.

The Trentonian and the Daily Princeton preview tonight's contest.

Fairfield (15-10) made it five straight with a 61-44 victory over St. Peter's. The Stags' game against Manhattan scheduled for Saturday afternoon has been postponed until Monday night.

Snatching a school record 22 steals, Denver (14-8) topped Seattle, 72-55.

Mercer (17-8) fell at Burlington, 58-53.

Ian Hummer shares the latest Ivy League Player of the Week honors. For those of you keeping score at home that's three solo awards and a pair of split awards this season for the Princeton senior. Both times Hummer has been Co-POW the other recipient has been Harvard's Wesley Saunders.

The Daily Princetonian summarizes the Tigers' victories over Cornell and Columbia.

Fairfield (14-10) won their fourth straight, 64-54 at Siena.

The Stags will host Albany in a BracketBuster game on February 23rd while Denver will travel to Northern Iowa the same day.

One reporter wishes more professional athletes were like Will Venable.
