The Daily Princetonian and the Yale Daily News preview tonight's game.

Working on his NIT bracket projections, Big Apple Buckets sees the Tigers as the fifth-best team left out of this tournament according to Easiest Bubble Solver.

There is a First Person Singular from John Thompson III in the Washington Post.

Oregon State (16-13) led wire to wire in a 77-67 win over Utah.

For those who are still (to use a phrase that's been in the news this week) Daydream Believers, you need to see these six things happen to get the Tigers into a 4-team playoff:

* Princeton must win its last three games against Yale, Brown and Penn.
* Harvard must lost to both Columbia and Cornell
* Assuming that Penn will beat Brown, Yale must beat Penn.

The patient is on life support, but there is a faint pulse.

A friend calculated the odds as of Sunday at roughly 142-1 (or 0.70%) of all these results coming together as required.

Princeton getting to *and* winning a two round Ivy playoff is 666-1 against (0.15% chance).

There's another scenario which is 10,869-1 but I'll spare you...

I'm guessing the 10,869 to 1 is if Penn loses to Brown so that the winner of Yale-Penn joins Harvard and Princeton in a 3-way playoff. You might get better odds with MegaMillions.

All the Tigers can do is take care of business. Sweeping the last 3 would certainly put them somewhere in the postseason--maybe the Insight.com Bowl?

I'm not willing to take a deep look at postseason possibilities until the regular season is complete, but compared to 2009-10, Princeton is in much better shape for making a tournament.

The Tigers' RPI when they reached the CBI was 132. If they take care of business this weekend they'll be at least 30 spots higher.
