Princeton held this year's Orange & Black Scrimmage and Clinic at Jadwin Gym less than an hour after the Tigers defeated Dartmouth 27-17 to win a share of the Ivy League football title for the first time in eleven years.
The football game pleased the above dudes greatly.
The scrimmage gave most area Princeton fans their first chance to see this year's crop of Tigers in action. Princeton ran drills for twenty minutes before splitting the roster up for a twenty-five minute game. Score was kept informally and fouls were called by the coaches.
Schroeder, Gunn, Koncz, Owings and Conway (black team) took on Strittmatter, Savage, Finley, Buffmire and Steuerer (orange team). Woolridge, Wilson, Buczak, Petrie, Lake & Briggs all saw time as subs.
Matt Sargeant was the only Princeton player on this year's roster to not suit up for the event, sidelined with a broken finger. Another tough twist for the oft-injured junior guard.
All the best moments came during the clinic, watching Luke Owings give all of the young kids he was instructing nicknames, seeing Noah Savage try to instruct awestruck children on how to perfect the spin dribble, Pawel Buczak lifting a tiny guy up to the rim for a much closer look at the basket and watching Coach Scott ask these bright eyed boys and girls if they had a good time playing with his squad.
