Before I call it an evening, nearly four minutes of clips from Princeton's win over Harvard.

Great fun to watch the highlights. What is clear in these clips is the impact of Hummer and Bray. Hummer's game, by its nature, mesmerizes the viewer; his moves are spectacularly athletic. To get a sense of how valuable TJ is you've got to watch more closely. Kind of like what Derek Jeter does over the course of a season. His tendency is to produce something positive at a crucial time: a big 3 when we're down a couple or when the other team is getting some momentum, an entry pass resulting in an assist, exploiting a matchup advantage to use his great speed (all right, maybe not great speed) to get to the basket, grabbing a key rebound, and always, always sacrificing his body. He hit the deck each time he scored at the basket against Harvard, but got right up to get back into the defense. We may look back at the tipped rebound by Hummer that a diving TJ managed to slap toward Koon as The Play That Defines The Season. I can still hear the thumping sound TJ's body made a millisecond after the slap as he crashed into the scorer's table. Some guys don't do anything great except they know how to beat you. Love those highlights from winning games....looks like we shut them out!
