Bill Bradley was selected as one the top 15 All-Time March Madness Players by the NCAA.

After looking for a major league deal elsewhere, Chris Young rejoined Washington for an incentive-laden minor league agreement.

A piece on Michigan head coach John Beilein has several quotes from Richmond coach Chris Mooney.

Princeton recruit Henry Caruso was awarded First Team All-Mercury News status.

Fairfield has already named their captain for next season.

The first transfer list of 2013 includes one Ivy League name.

Nostalgia reigned last night at MSG as the Knickerbockers honored the NBA Champions of 1973. Team members and family representatives of the deceased were introduced at halftime, including Bill Bradley, of whom it was said, "The Garden will always be his home," whatever that means. Interesting fact: the team placed 10 members in the Basketball Hall Fame!

To those who never saw him play in college, it must be hard to comprehend how scary Bradley was, especially if you just know him from the Knicks (thanks George!) and his magical catalyst role. Consider (see the NCAA page) that in three NCAAs he averaged MORE PPG than any of the other Top 15 players -- Robertson, Lucas, Abdul-Jabbar, West, anybody.

Although I must say my favorite stat on the page is West's NCAA average, six PPG higher than his regular season numbers.
