Not to bring the room down after a nice win, but I've been having difficulty thinking of the last time Princeton had a 20 point lead and lost a basketball game. Does a previous occurrence come to mind? I can recall Tiger opponents that have come back from down 19 and down 18 but never 20 or more.

The 14-Game Tournament looks at some of Princeton's statistical red flags through their first three games.

Richmond (4-1) blasted Southern, 81-40.

Mercer (3-3) returned to the win column with an 82-68 decision over Lackawanna. 5'10" Jon Jernigan had 18 points, 12 rebounds and six steals. The Vikings were 9-18 from three point range.

High school basketball is getting underway around the nation. Princeton recruit Bobby Garbade scored 12 points in Seton Catholic's season-opening victory.

Denver takes on Alcorn State tonight.

Charlotte visits Oregon State.

Around the Ivy League: Penn (2-2) outscored Lafayette by 16 in the second half of a 74-65 Quaker win. Noruwa Agho had 25 points as Columbia (2-3) defeated Colgate, 76-63. Quinnipiac put away Dartmouth (1-4) by a 69-52 final. Yale (1-3) fell 73-47 at Illinois.

How does Princeton beat Bucknell by 11 and then lose to Presbyterian, which lost to Bucknell by 24 points? This team needs to play better defense and shoot fouls or its going to be a long season.
