On to the news...
In addition to our recap, read about Princeton's big win over Siena on goprincetontigers.com, in the Trentonian, in the Trenton Times, in the Daily Princetonian, in the Times Union Tribune, on Siena Saints Blog, on Chicago College Basketball and on sienasaints.com.
The Times Union Tribune also discusses a defensive lapse that cost Siena dearly.
For those who asked after the game, Kareem Maddox was the first Princeton player since Brian Taylor against Kentucky in 1971 to have a 30 point, 10 rebound stat line. Taylor went for 39 and 13 on December 18, 1971 in a 96-82 loss to the Wildcats.
If you can remember another game where a Princeton player had 30 points coming off the bench, I'd love to hear about it!
Northwestern (4-0) stayed perfect with a 65-52 win over Creighton. The Wildcats are 4-0 for the first time since 1993.
Around the Ivy League: Harvard (4-1) knocked off Colorado, 82-66. Two Van Green free throws with 1.7 seconds left gave Columbia (3-3) the two point comeback win over American.
