Playoff sold out!

That didn't take long. Both Harvard and Princeton have already sold their full allotments of tickets for Saturday's playoff game in New Haven.

Each school does have a small number of spots still obtainable for students with ID.

No tickets will be available at/via Yale.

Wow. That was quick. While I like that the game will be on an Ivy campus, the league should have gone with a larger venue.

Jim, I was able to turn up eight different tickets for the game at Harvard after it sold out and satisfy everyone on my waiting list. I'll put you at the top of what I am sure will be a lengthy queue.

Just curious:

Was there any sort of email message that went out to Season Ticket Holders informing them of the pending ticket sale?

If so, guess I should check the email address the ticket office has for me, since I rec'd no word about the tix.

I'm with Coco that the University should have given season ticketholders the first option to buy tickets for the playoff. My concern is that scalpers may have gobbled up the vast majority of tickets.

Per Princeton, students can call the ticket office tomorrow (609-258-4TIX) to be put on a waiting list for more tickets, which could become available.

I do not know if a message was sent to season ticket holders.

Given the 2,532 capacity and where they put the bands at Yale, a limit of 30 members on each side seems fair.

Thanks Jon!

Concern for scalpers is real. I've been fortunate to see the Tigers play in the NCAAs a number of times over the years and at some of those it was really obscene how many tickets scalpers had snatched up and what it cost to get in. If I'd taken that money and invested, my kids' college fund would be a lot healthier!

What, no corporate luxury boxes at Yale?
