The days when I had high hopes that the Tigers would land Hubert seem long ago here in the backwash of Coach Johnson's departure. As a Tar Heel fan, I am pleased that Hubert has committed to UNC, although I doubt he will see much time next season given the Heels' stacked frontcourt.

TigerHeel, you may be confusing cause and effect here. Was Hubert accepted to Princeton? and if not, was that part of SJ's decision to leave?
I don't know whether Hubert was accepted and remember reading posts suggesting that his interest in the Tigers had waned well before Coach Johnson's decision. The point that I was trying to make was only that the program feels less stout than it did a few months back when there was a possibility of scoring a top flight prospect (and great kid, from what I understand) like Hubert.
