Friday News:

The Princeton Packet, the Daily Princetonian, the Associated Press, the Trenton Times and the Trentonian have articles about Mitch Henderson's introduction yesterday.

TigerBlog writes about meeting Henderson all over again.

A "faculty brat" at Culver Military Academy had two heroes growing up - Michael Jordan and Mitch Henderson.

Want to be an assistant on the new Princeton staff? The job posting is here.

Chris Young is readying for a Tuesday return to the mound.

Since it hasn't been covered here yet, I'll ask the question on everyone's mind: Will Lawrence Schuler be with the team next year?

It is not an impossible scenario that Lawrence would be the only "staff" holdover from 10-11!

As I wrote on Twitter yesterday (for whatever it is worth): Kendrick Saunders was at yesterday's press conference, Brian Earl was not.

Who is Kendrick Saunders?

Kendrick Saunders is Princeton's Director of Basketball Operations, a position that is pretty much an additional assistant coach but can't do any "hands on" work during practices.

Saunders joined the Princeton staff in July of last year.

I haven't read much here about what Henderson brings to the table as a coach, as opposed to a savvy player who continues the Princeton coaching tradition. Here's an excerpt from a blog on an Illinois daily website:

"The Wildcats will miss him for his X-and-Os acumen, his pinpoint scouting reports and his solid recruiting (he identified 6-foot-11 North Carolina center John Cannon a long time ago), but it’s a great move for Henderson."

That's a pretty good endorsement.
