Just received word assistant coach Brian Earl will be staying at Princeton as part of Mitch Henderson's staff! This must have been a very difficult decision for Coach Earl, but it should please the returning players greatly to hear this news.

terrific news!!
Great news.
This seems to indicate that Mitch Henderson really does want to continue to build on the current style of play, rather than change things dramatically.
Earl's return ensures that there has been a connecting staff member on the Princeton sidelines from 1967-2011.

I am sooooo pleased. Maybe this knot in my stomach will start to loosen up. :-)
That is great news for Princeton. Everybody has good things to say about Coach Earl. Frankly, I'm surprised but certainly pleased.
This is great news indeed. I couldn't be more pleased with Coach Henderon's week one+ on the job and am interested to see how the rest of the staff plays out. I would be excited to see a more recent former player like Noah Savage invited to join the staff.
Jon,
U just made my day! Not only were they teammates who played well together on the court, now they can take it to the next level on the sidelines.
I believe Noah Savage has more interest in pursuing a career in stand up comedy than one in coaching.
There are other former Tigers eager about getting into the coaching profession that might make good candidates for the volunteer position.
I'd expect an "outside voice" to take the non-Earl paid assistant job.
Jon
I hope that he (other paid assistant) is a good recruiter/scout. Those seem to be the most critical skills for a 2nd assistant.
You do need someone from the outside and yes they better be able to recruit.
Okay Jon, you got me. What don't I know, what should I know, about Noah Savage and comedy?
Larry, plug "Noah Savage" and "Comedy" into a search engine of your choosing!
