Marcus Jenkins, who served as a Director of Basketball Operations the last four seasons at Richmond, will join the Princeton coaching staff as one of Mitch Henderson's new assistants.
A 2004 graduate of the Air Force Academy, Jenkins played in 22 games his junior and senior years under Joe Scott and then-assistant coach Chris Mooney before working as a Logistics Readiness Officer at Malmstrom Air Force Base for three years.
"Marcus is an outstanding young coach who will be an asset to Coach Mitch Henderson and the tremendous tradition of Princeton Basketball," said Mooney. "He is extremely organized, hard working and loves basketball. He will relate very well to the players and will represent Princeton admirably."
Here is a hometown profile on the Lompoc, CA native from March.
This hire leaves one position on Henderson's staff still to be filled.
