Speaking of Doug Davis, I assume you know that The Shot was featured at the Espys as one of the plays of the year (or something like that), along with such minor events as the Mavs, Bruins, Packers, and SF Giants winning their respective championships. I'm sure many of us would like to see that clip again if you can find it. I'm especially interested because they showed it from an angle that didn't look familiar to me. Maybe I just haven't been watching The Shot enough lately and I forgot, but if there's another angle, I'd definitely like to see it again. Thanks!

I saw that via Twitter last night and while my DVR deserves better I've set my DVR for an ESPYs re-broadcast.

Hahaha, awesome. Just re-watching the clip, I think it might be the same footage from the original ESPN3 broadcast. But let us know. Either way, it will be great to have the clip as part of the greatest-plays countdown.

I just watched / fast forwarded through today's ESPN2 rebroadcast of the ESPYs *twice* and I never saw Davis' shot.

Perhaps it got cut from the live show to fit the two hour time window?

But it was in a countdown! How could they cut a countdown? Unreal.
