Spending New Year's Eve in Tallahassee.

It appears that after playing at Florida State on December 30th the Tigers will stick around Tallahassee to face Florida A&M on New Year's Day.

I can't recall a time in recent memory where the Tigers combined non-conference games on a single plane trip that wasn't a tournament. Anyone?

The Rattlers, who are part of the MEAC, had a record of 8-20 last season.

That's 12 nonconference games accounted for (or 26 total). One presumes a tuneup game of some sort on 1/28 or 1/29. By rule, how may additional games can be scheduled? Does the CBE thing count as an exempt tournament?

Stuart,

I'll have more on this in tomorrow's news but the game at Cornell has been moved up to 1/13. I'd assume the Columbia game will slide up as well.

I know of 2-3 more games that haven't been announced yet so the schedule has to be very close to complete.

CBE counts as one game, so Princeton can schedule 30 games - as they did a season ago.

Only one home non-conference game so far. Wow. In your next interview with the coaches, I would be interested to hear their thoughts on how difficult it is to convince other teams to come to Jadwin.
