Will Venable hit his first major league home run, a 420 foot blast to deep center field, as San Diego won 5-2 at Milwaukee. Watch video of Venable's drive here. The 6'3" 225 lb Venable is hitting .348 after six professional starts.
Georgetown now knows dates and opponents for its 2008-09 Big East schedule.
