Friday News:

Richmond vs. VCU - 8:00 pm ET - ESPN2
Fairfield vs. Old Dominion - 9:00 pm ET - Basketball Hall Of Fame - SNY
Idaho vs. Oregon State - 10:00 pm ET - Root Sports

The Princeton Packet, the Star Ledger and New Jersey Newsroom add more about the Rutgers game.

On the other hand the Daily Princetonian and CBS Philly are already looking ahead at tomorrow's trip to Drexel.

Princeton sits in 10th place in the latest Big Apple Buckets power poll. I had the Tigers slotted eighth on my ballot, ahead of Rutgers and behind St. John's.

A few super photos from the Tigers' win over Lafayette for you to review.

Mercer (1-10) dropped a 72-60 decision at Essex.

Three branches of the Carril Cradle are in action tonight, and all their games are on TV. Be prepared to flip channels frequently.

Richmond plays their annual Black & Blue Classic game at VCU. Chris Mooney passed on multiple opportunities to stay with the Spiders.

As part of a Hall of Fame Holiday Showcase quadrupleheader, Fairfield meets ODU.

Oregon State hosts Idaho.

Around the Ivy League: Harvard (8-1) fell at #9 UConn, 67-53.

Jon: Any further word on Barrett's injury?

None. Had expected a statement yesterday but one never came. Will ask for an update tomorrow at Drexel.

Bought my ticket for Drexel. They have open seating, and the students may be departing as break starts today. So we might be able to have a nice Princeton cohort seated behind the Princeton bench!

Regarding Will Barrett: Is it an ankle? knee? foot? Do you know what is injured and how it happened? Harvard made its debut as a ranked team at one of the hardest road venues in the northeast. Too bad for them. The Huskies are obviously loaded again. I would love to know the details about the underclassman who "gave up" his scholarship in order that Drummond could enroll. Calhoun is something else. Who, outside of Calipari, could win the national championship, absorb "sanctions", and improve his team?

Barrett has a boot over his right foot, so I doubt it is a knee.
