UNC Greensboro vs. Richmond - 4:00 pm ET

Lafayette vs. Columbia - 7:00 pm ET

Florida State is ready to get back to action. The Tallahassee Democrat previews tonight's game. These two articles may open in front of a paywall. I had mixed results.

Princeton recruit Mike Washington, Jr. scored 13 in a loss for Oak Harbor at the Bellevue Holiday Tournament.

Denver (11-2) matched its best ever Division I start as they opened conference play with a 79-62 win over Troy.

Unable to completely dig out of a 20 point hole, Oregon State (10-3) fell 95-80 at Washington.

Richmond hosts UNC Greensboro today. The Spiders will raise a banner honoring Kevin Anderson before the game.

Around the Ivy League: Harvard (11-1) defeated Boston College for the fourth straight time, 67-46. Brown (5-9) lost 66-49 at St. Francis (NY). Down 19 midway through the second half, Yale (8-3) got as close as two with a minute to go but could not finish the comeback at Wake Forest. Penn (6-7) suffered a similar fate in the same state, dropping at 75-70 decision at Davidson.

Yale is compiling a nice pre-league record, including wins over Central Ct. State, Lyndon State, and Bryant. The tough loss last night, at Wake Forest, is impressive I must concede, but the loss to Seton Hall may be more indicative of the Bulldogs. I was in the throng of 25,000 at the Carrier Dome for the Big East opener on Wednesday. Boeheim played everybody, including the fan selected for the half-court $10,000 shot, but the Pirates were never in the game, managing just 15 in the first half. The Yale-Florida game should be a lot of fun, especially after Rutgers upset the Gators last night.

Good to see Washington getting coverage at the national level. We'll need someone to replace Davis next year.
